Imposter Syndrome

We feel we are imposters
Not knowing what to do
We feel there is an answer
Shining bright and true
We point the blame at others
They offend for wanting more
We argue that the game is rigged
That we’re not keeping score
But really it’s exposure
To the billions of the Earth
That makes us apprehensive
When deducing our self-worth
We see the frozen moment
The result not the try
Really this should tell us
Our expectations are too high
